Bird Sound Design (Workshop)
Bird Sound Design is a one-day workshop exploring the acoustic world of birds through digital sound synthesis and analysis. Participants will learn how and why birds produce the sounds they do, understand the structure of call, trill, or song, and translate that understanding into original synthesis patches built in Max/MSP. The day moves through different types of bird sound, each matched to the synthesis technique that suits it. By the end, each participant has a collection of bird sounds they made themselves, in addition to tools and techniques to create nature soundscapes.
Workshop will take place on Saturday, November 14th, 12:00–18:00 at Projektraum Zwitschermaschine, Potsdamer Str. 161, 10783 Berlin
